Cleaning of the washable Silk Blankets:

The silk fibre is extremely strong and durable and if you follow the care instructions the quality and the elegancy will last for decades. As silk belongs like wool to the natural protein fibres please take into account:

If you follow the care instructions you can wash the washable Sichou blankets up to 20 times. Attention: Never compress the blankets - they need enough space in the washing machine. We recommend to wash them separately without spin or dry cycle. Dry them carefully outdoor in the sun not exceeding three hours that the humidity can evaporate and that the blankets keep smooth and soft.

Care of the original Sichou Silk Blanket:

The Sichou silk blanket should be cleaned according to the advice on the cleaning label.

It is not recommended to wash the blankets as the wet silk can be damaged during the handling. By airing the silk blanket in a gentle sunshine and shaking them from time to time the ability of self-cleaning can be activated. Thus you keep the qualities of the Sichou blankets for a long time. In the event of a spillage or stain, please use a special silk agent.

Attention: Wet silk is very delicate and should not be exposed to any pressure. Then dry the blanket in the shadow or in a gentle sunshine.

After a use of 2-3 weeks we recommend to air the Sichou blankets for 1-2 hours, if possible in a gentle sunshine and shake them carefully. Thus you activate the softness of the filling.

Care of Sichou Bed Linen

• No spot clean with water or soap
• Never use bleaching agents
• Never spin-dry or wring wet silk
• During ironing never moisten the silk and d’ont use ironing additives
• Ironing on the inside
• Never expose the silk to the sun for a longer time
• Never spray with a deodorant, perfume or other alcoholic substances

Although silk should be cleaned by a professional cleaning service it can be carefully hand washed without being damaged. Please handle wet silk very carefully as the fibres brake more easily than in a dry condition.
